Hi. I went to a 3d ultrasound today in the morning at little peek in oak park. I am 16 weeks and I was.told it was a boy, could it be possible that theymade a mistake and could in fact be a girl?

I mean I was hoping and thought it would be a girl. The tech was telling me she was 99.9% and she would show me what was his parts but I didn't see anything?? They gave me a picture but not of his gender.. just a picture of the baby..

Especially if you went to an independent center this is all they do all day long.

Normally at 16 weeks these techs can tell. Did you not get a pic to see? A girl has 2 lines and a boy will look kinda like a turtle

There is always that possibility, and the earlier in your pregnancy you are.. The more difficult it is to be exact on the gender. Do you think it may be a girl?
