Baby shower!!

I'm 27 weeks and we aren't having a baby shower because I moved out of state an have no one around. Me and my boyfriend have yet to buy anything due to car repair costs!!! I'm worried we won't be ready!!! Any advice??

I'm sorry if I sound rude.. but really you can't depend on people to buy you stuff.. I mean It's your baby.. sometimes we think babies need a whole bunch of big furniture but really they don't.. with a bassinet diapers and some clothes and bottles u are good to go.. sorry if I sound rude but its the truth

Thank you. I'll have to look into that. My grandma and aunt are here with me so they will spoil the little one with clothes it's just the expensive stuff in worried about

Check for local pregnancy centers. You can find Hope Crisis Pregnant Centers where you live and typically, they make you watch some videos (only 15 mins long) pertaining to pregnancy and you earn points and get free stuff which can be anythin' from brand new to hardly used.... Car seats, strollers, bottles, breast pumps, clothes for you and babykins, etc. It might be different where you live, there are other places that give out free baby stuff to moms In need, juss gotta look around.

You cant go home for your shower. I live in GA but having my shower in NC.

Also, register at Babies R Us and make a list.  Your family can send things by looking at the registry online.

Join a pregnant woman group or Lamaze class, and tell people what's going on.
