I do and I gave birth two months ago. It didn't effect anything
I have it. If I'm not mistaking I have the s kind... I gave birth to my daughter in 2011 and wasn't going to get an epidural because of it but I was 16 and wouldn't deal with the pain. I got it but it only hurt because I was in the middle of a contraction. I want to hold off as long as I can this time. But if it comes down to the pain I'll get it again.
I was told I have it when I gave birth to my daughter in November of 2013. Reason why I had 3 failed epidurals
yea i also have scoliosis i asked my doctor about giving birth she said everything will be fine i just have to talk to the anesthesiologist for the epidural.
I had both types of scoliosis and I have spinal bifida (not the kind you have surgery for just where one vertebra is open in the back due to the bone not fusing in the womb) and I'm now 29 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy. My back flares up but usually a massage and hot pack do me good
I have it too.. I talked to my doctor and she said the only thing with the epidural is it might be difficult to put it in depending on how bad it is..
I have both kinds of scoliosis. The rotated and s. I am 16 weeks I will mention it to my Dr next app
I have scoliosis and my doctor has not said anything about c section and I personally dont want an epidural. Im 37 weeks.
I have scoliosis (s curve) as well several other back problems. vaginal birth was no problem, but I don't recommend an epidural. my doctor thought it would speed up my Labour (it stalled it) and it hurt so bad putting it in. my next pregnancy, I went no pain meds and it was better. planning on natural vaginal delivery with twins next month. just talk with your provider about what you want
How did it effect the pregnancy?
I had a spinal fusion 2011 and a csection 2013. They just did a spinal block further up my spine and it went great. Having my seconf csection later this year. Good luck!
