I know I need to move around as soon as I can I'm going to ask if I can self Medicare as well so don't have to wait for nurses for pain relief.
The first night for me was hell, only because of the nurse I had (long story) other then that as soon as the IV antiobiotic was done I was up and going for walks. The first couple of walks wasn't fun but wasn't that hard.
Ohh resentment will be the farthest thing from your mind, I assure you. Seeing your new baby is the most amazing experience, ever! Painful or not, it's all worth it. And it is a major surgery, but it's not as bad as people make it out to be, if you don't try to have some level of pain tolerance, it's going to hurt like hell, it's more of a mind over matter, it does hurt, but it's tolerable, and you can do it! :)
Thanks everyone. I don't want suger coated is rather someone told me what to expect. I know its a major surgery so going to take time to recover just don't want to feel like I have any resentment towards my daughter if I'm in that much pain
Goodluck! It will be okay :)
My recovery was great, and I'm not sugar coating it. people just take surgery different ways. I was up and doing my normal thing the next day with minimal pain. My first bm hurt like hell but what are ya gonna do lol. The only time I was in "excruciating" pain was when my face itched so bad after surgery I about scratched it off. The duramorph and I don't hang well, but I'm getting it again sadly.
