Stormi has always been my favorite name..but my hubby almost killed me when itold him lol and our parents were like wat the hell lol..any advice on names for both genders.
All and all names i liked
Girl -penelope, everly, bloom, lunabelha, satyana, ariella, mirabella, lillybel, pixie
Boy -jettison, sailor, knight, yanci, klay, uri, ari, archimedes, lennox, axl, arrow

Hun name your baby what u and your so like.. your not gonna pls everyone.. your the one who needs to like it. My spanish family tlked me out of klay cause it wasnt common to them .. regret not keeping it a secret. Then my so and and i picked rocco and my family was like what stick w klay and i was like hes my kid ive had enough. Everyones had a time to name thier kid let me enjoy this. Im not gonna pick a name to pls my spanish family. I like diff names. If you like stormi and your so comes around go for it. Dont listen to ppl., i always get oh roccos modern life.. or thats my dogs name once on here like u dont wanna hear that. Gd luck hunny.
Stormy, you should meet my husband's cousin, who is single and looking for a wife. His last name is Day. Stormy Dawn Day *really* has a ring to it.
Actually, I used to know someone with a name from a different heritage (possibly Norwegian?) whose name was Storma. She went by Stormi. I like Stormy Dawn (together) and Storma much better than Stormi, which always makes me think of names like Brandi and Taffy. But as you say, "Oh well."
o.p., if what you like about Stormi is the imagery, there are a lot of good weather related, season related and natural-event related names that have a more formal aspect and don't sound fluffy or light. Autumn is pretty, Season is pretty, Vesper is pretty (I know, not weather related), Petrel is lovely (there is such a bird as a "Stormy Petrel") and Zephyr, and names from mythology that have to do with the seasons and with weather. If what you like about the name is the S, Sycha, Simone and Sybilla are pretty.

If it's a little girl we are calling her Lovei and if its a boy we are calling him Tolki.
Ialso dont want a common name..but idont want something that cant b pronounced bc my name is very hard to pronounce and it use to anger me growing up til igave myself a nickname
You need to remember that you're naming a child for the rest of their life. They'll go to school with this name, apply for jobs, get married. Stormi is not a name I'd want to brand a kid for life with...just my opinion.
Yea mateo was on my boy list ..lol but stormi really mayb a nickname if i get more negative comments for the main name..oh well
Uw, i knew someone with that name.. very wierd. Also the name "dusty".. its like where do they come up with these lol.. thats my opinion.. for girl Rosalie, or Sienna is pretty. For boys umm Mateo ? Lol I cant really think of any atm
