First, let me say that I already knows its not good for you or the baby. Thats not what im asking.
Second, I smoked throughout my first pregnancy. My son ended up coming 5 weeks early, and spent 3 weeks in the NICU. I personally think it was due to more than just smoking bc I had a lot of stress in my life at that time. But I know the smoking didnt help.
Third, what im asking is, how to quit. I havent been able to put them down yet. I just hit 12 weeks so I know I still have time, but its so hard. I still get stressed real easily and its always my first choice to smoke a cig. So I tried cutting back and I found myself right back to ab a pack a day after a few weeks. So now im just like what do I try next? I know they say snacking when you get a craving is an alternative, but I don't eat a whole lot and forcing myself to eat something when I dont want anything makes me nauseated. And I know they say chug water, but I really dislike drinking water so I could probably only handle that 2 or 3 times a day before id just be pissed off lol.
So what has worked for other ladies that had a harder time than they expected?
