tearing

How many of you ladies...natural or not didn't tear during labor??  How much did your baby weigh and How was your position during birth?

Yeah the are saying my daughter is face up as well...I'm kind of thinking if she doesn't turn I'm going to tear...which scares the crap out of me lol....but I'm just looking for ways not to try or to lessen the tear...I'm a ftm so I know we are more likely to.

I didnt tear or need stitches. I gave birth on my back and my baby girl was 6lbs 2 oz. Hopefully it'll be the same w this one:)

I didn't tear or get cut either. Not stitches here!! My lil man was 8 pounds 10 ounces and I got released from the hospital the next day. I came hone yesyerday and im cleaning and reorganizing stuff. I feel good. I was on my back for position. And I wasn't in labor too long..  less than 12 hrs. But real active labor with bad conteactions... only 4 hrs... once they broke my water the contractions became unbearable. :(

I tore beacaus I had a forceps birth after all my pushing because my daughter's nose was stuck under my pelvic bone!stitches were a nightmare-cudnt walk stand sit poo.....   :-(

My sister was in labour for 4 hours. She had a natural birth and never tore or was cut and gave birth to a healthy 9.6 1/2 baby boy. She was on her back :-)

I didn't tear.... my little girl was 8.7pounds and I was in labour for 30hrs.... but no tears at all...

i tore with my son who was only 4lbs 5oz and he came so fast that i did it all natural on my back

Oh and i actually had to give birth on my left side because her heart rate would drop

I tore but not nearly enough to get stitches  my daughter weighed 5lbs 6 oz and she was face up.
