Epidural or no Epidural?

So with my first kiddo I had sign the papers to get an Epidural, but the doctor was too late so I had my son with no pain medicine just all natural. I'm not sure if I should just go for it like that again or maybe I should take the epidural... I need help from other moms that have had epidural and also moms that just gone all natural :)

Just go in with an open mind and go with the flow. If you feel you need it during labor or want it then go for it.

If you've already given birth once drug free then why not do it again? Epidurals are amazing for people who need them.

I got the epidural at 8cm. I had a GREAT experience! An hour after I got it it was time to push. Pushed for 15 mins and I could walk immediately after birth! I would definitely get it again :)

I had the epidural and liked it and had a good experience. I tried natural and made it to 8 cm until i got it. If i needed to i could do it but i decided to go ahead with it and get the epidural. Its all about how you feel about it and if you want to "experience labor" as some people put it or if you want to try to enjoy it without pains. Also how you feel about the risks etc.

I had an epidural and I had a good experience. It was great to be able to sleep a little while waiting to dilate more. The only problem I had was that it took so long for them to get it in right. After 4 tries it finally got in. Good luck to you!
