Yes, colace or the store brand I take one everyday because I have to take extra iron. Try some extra fiber in your diet as well.
^^^^^ oh and it's 100% safe during pregnancy. I'm 23wks and have been taking it for a while :)
My doctor told me to take Colace it's not a laxative it's just a stool softener and it helps ALOT! But it can be kind of expensive but you can go to Walgreens, Cvs, or Walmart and buy their brand. It's less expensive and works just as well.
Hope this helps :)
Castor oil works great, rub into your pressure points . Hope this helps.
check with your Dr if you can sprinkle some ground flax on your food ... not sure if it has to be ground but thats what i used in my daughters food and it works(i havent looked into it if there is any reason not to for pregnancy tho)... my sister would eat 1/3 cup bran buds in yogurt every morning and it isnt that bad... it adds some crunch and tastes pretty good.... i think thats 50% of your reccomened fiber right there...
girl ur not alone I get like that some days it *****,im gonna try the stuff above I hope something works
Thank you I hope something helps. I hate this
Thats mag citrate, and it's best to ask your ob before doing that. It can act the same as castor oil.
They usually prescribe mag citrate as a bowel prep before colonoscopies. It can cause cramping, gas, diarrhea,ect..... It's like a last resort thing if your ob even okays it.
There's this clear liquid in a clear bottle that looks like a vinegar bottle in any pharmacy can't remember the name (ask someone that works there) but drink a bottle & the next 2-4 hours you'll be fine ! Hopes this somewhat helps !
A nice hot cup of coffee every morning gets me going (lol tmi and decaf works the same).
Also prune juice, apple juice, raisins, benefiber, more water.... You can try one, or kinda mix a few throughout the day...
