ultrasound tech annoying...

Anyone else get annoyed with the ultrasound techs? I got so mad today at mine! Instead of concentrating on getting what she needed for the ultrasound(the heart and brain) she was freaking out that my little boy was in the breach position! I'm only 21wks.....last time I checked the only time to be worried about the baby being breached in when you close to your due date and/or labor! It really ticked me off....the way she was talking to me was like I made sure my baby was in that position!

It just irritating that they take a happy moment and make you feel like you can't wait to get it over with! I almost wanted to say something...ya know like home the mom off of Juno snapped on the tech but I just wanted to have it over with not delay it anymore then it has to be!

I'm sorry ladies you had your bad experience with techs too! I to apprieciate you sharing your experiences with me!

Mine was breeched at 21w3d...just went back this week at 23w1d...baby was head down...dont worry they still flip a lot at this age...i've had some bad experiences too...it *****

I was disappointed at how cold the ultrasound tech was at my 12 week scan for my down symptom.. She barely even talk at all. Since I'm a FTM, I was hoping to get a tv moment like "look, here the's baby's heart beat...blah blah" but I got cold indifference. I try not to let that brother me as long as all the test come back fine, which it did.
Then for my 20 weeks scan I was so praying for a different tech which I did :)
This lady was so nice and chatty. Showing us the all the sections of the heart, all the lil fingers and toes. Playing the heartbeats. Just so happy and helpful, so thankful for that :)
And she didn't mention the position of the baby since it is too early to tell. My baby switch position 3 times during the ultrasound and who know how many much time before he/she decide to settle down. Even my doctor think it's too early to tell.
So don't worry about it. Hopefully you will have a better ultrasound tech on your next appointment.

I believe it's "breech," not "breach," coming from the breeches being downward.

Dont pay her no mind she must have been new but yes i have been so annoyed with one of mine that i wanted to punch her in the face she was ignorant inconsiderate and out right mean abd she told my doc i had a tuble and they almost aborted my baby i made them look again insisting she did something wrong and sure enough she did and the baby was fine now i am 25 weeks n 3 days hang in there
