My husband's 13 year old brother is so use to spending time with my husband. The thing is that he likes spending the night at my house and he walked into what was the guest room and seemed disappointed that it's been changed into our daughter's nursery. We have tried to explain to him that in a few more months he will be an uncle to a little baby girl. He has adhd and autism so he doesn't understand fully why my husband is constantly working and doing things around the house. It's like he thinks every weekend he can spend the night. Don't get me wrong I love his brother, but it's irritating.

Aw :( I've heard kids with autism have a. really hard. time accepting change. I hope everything goes ok for you guys. Maybe once he sees the baby he'll be excited and understand

There have to be resources where you can learn about living with autism.  Look online or at a bookstore.  The more you learn, the better things will go.

I try to understand since they are 12 years apart and that he is still not use to us being married and not living with his brother anymore. it's just hard since I'm not use to dealing with autism.

Try to understand him... His used to being with his older brother... For someone that has autism they are not used to changes... Im sure when the baby comes he will also not understand y his brother is paying attention to someone else... His mind doesnt function like ours.. Just have patients he will come around :)
