Venting

My husband is great he does everything he can to provide for our family. But we only have one vehicle right now and Im really tired of it. I don't like depending on others to her where I need to go. But I'm mad its Christmas Eve and he was supposed to get off at 2:30 and its 6:30 now. We supposed to go to a Christmas Eve party at my family house. I'm just tired of him working so much that he barely has time for me and our son. I try not to say much but I'm really tired of it right now. He just got promoted and so even more pressure on him to handle everything. What about me? Feel like he has no time for me.

He can handle all the bills without working over. But his working over is not an option its mandatory overtime. I am about to get a car just want more things be paid off before I got one. Its just feel like he has a outside life and not me. I want just can't seem to get by myself and just have some me time.

Dear Lady J,
  The ideas I've thought of must have already been considered.
    Example  Driving him to work, so you could have the car.
                 Him carpooling.
                  Going with him & he dropping you & your son off at a mall.

Can you buy a cheap used reliable car?  Something like a corolla or a mazda protege you could get for less than $5K,  and you can drive them to about 200K miles.

I couldn't stand being at home without a car.

Do u work. If not maybe u should consider getting a job so he don't have to work so much and he can spend more time with u and ur son and eventually get a car. It takes two incomes these days
