what a good father consist of?
Ok! I've been with my children father for 6 years now out of the years we've dated we broken up n gotten back together. Now I'm at the breaking point to where I'm still under his mother roof with his sister and her son. He tried to buy a home but his credit had some issues but he didn't try to find somewhere to stay. Now since I'm coming off maternity leave and will be returning to wrk he now wants to find a place. Am I wrong for not wanting too. Someone please help on the advice.

Nothing about your BF sounds like "good father"material. YOU control the circumsatances in your life, and IMO, have let this unhealthy arrangement go on WAY too long.

Well....I don't know about you but I think a "good father" should be in a position to provide for his family financially and have decent credit and is ABLE to buy a home for his family NOT living in mother's home with his family.
Sounds like this man was like this from day 1. I don't know about you, but if a man's finances are NOT in order and he isn't living in his own place.....forget it. I wouldn't be making babies with him because his situation would indicate he had NOTHING to offer me let alone children.
