Ummm kind of an odd question.

Ok guys this is an odd question to ask but i do not know where to ask it at.Here is is you have all heard the saying some men like breasts and some men like butts more.ok. So with me I appreciate a womans breast and what not but i find myself noticing the rear more often.Why is that? Am I weird or what?

I think the study sounds interesting.  Did the hot girl the babies liked to look at look anything like their mother?  I've wondered a few times if  the kind of person I am (in my character and temperament) will influence the kind of girl my son winds up liking.  Right now he seems to go for both Betty and Veronica, just like Archie.  :)

Interesting findings regarding that study....  Heck, people will study anything if they can find the time and the funding.  (Remember the shrimp on the treadmill thing from a year or so ago?)  

I'm not sure how the mind works and I wouldn't even begin to try.

Ha, what a funny study to do with babies.  Nothing like curing the world with science, right?  LOL (hope NO tax dollars go to such things.)

I think you were born hard wired to like butts.  

My son,  who is now in his early 20's,  took part in a study at University of Texas Chiildren's research center when he was 6 months old.  

The theory they were testing is that babies prefer to look at photographs of people who look like their parents.  So they had this multimedia thing set up,  with computer generated images of people who look like the parents (from photographs submitted) and a bunch of other photographs of people.  

What they found,  was baby boys preferred to look at hot women,  and baby girls had no predictable preference.

Not only that,  baby boys had a preference for a "type" of hot girl they wanted to look at.  So they sent out the results with composites of the "type" girl each boy wanted to look at to the parents,  and asked the parents to submit a photo of the boy's first true young adult love.  Sure enough.  Wow.  Dead ringer for what my baby son preferred before he could even walk.

Are you really asking why you prefer butt to breast when looking at women?

In fact, it's said that guys who go crazy for breast cleavage are really secretly doing so because they're programmed to get excited about butt cleavage, biologically.  Back when humans were still evolving and walked squatting over, the butt was the signal of the main reproductive arena.
