masturbation can it ruin sex with partner

This is a 2 part question: would like to know if it is normal to masturbate in bed while wife is sleeping. Kinda in hopes of waking her up so have sex. Usually when i masturbate i dont bring it to ejaculation. My wife has no sexual desire or if she does its very little and she dont like it when i masturbate but if we are not having sex i enjoy masturbating.
Second part of my question is can her snoring be the cause of her not getting enough sleep. Please help

This discussion is related to excessive mastrubation.

yes we have had that discussion and a few months ago she was fine with it but recently she told me that it bothered her more than she thought it would. No but i think we will get the strips and see if it works. Oh and yes I do enjoy masturbation but would really like sex with my wife again.

I think masturbation is completely normal I think it would weird me out a little if I woke up and my partner was doing it next to me while I was sleeping and I think it would weird him out if I were the one doing it. I don't think it is fair for her to be upset when you masturbate, you have sexual desires and you are taking care of them in a healthy way. I would talk to her about her lack of desire, my mom had the same problem all of a sudden and it turned out that her testosterone was extremely low, that may be the reason your wife has a low sex drive or it could be an emotional thing, either way, I really think it needs to be addressed.
Pcarsey is right about the snoring thing, that is a sign of breathing problems.

Have you talked to your wife about why you do it? I don't really know the percentages of men who does, so I can't be sure if it would be considered normal.

And yes her snoring could be the cause of her not getting good enough sleep. I assume when she snores her breathing could be restricted thus causing a very restless night! Has she tried those breathing strips?

Good Luck!
