i had a boyfriend for a year now and we broke up, he said he just needs space so i met this new guy. The new guy is very sweet we went out to dinner one night it was the first time meeting him, and then the next day he comes to my job and suprises me with flowers and then on easter morning he took me out to breakfest. But my ex boyfriend and i are friends and he said he just needs time. When we first broke up he said go date whoever you want and now hes telling me he doesn't want me to date anyone else. He doesn't know about the new guy.

On easter (today) my ex comes over and he bought me wii and games for it. He knows i wanted it for a while, hes so amazing and he just held me and told me he still does love me and he loves that we haven't fought. But i think the only reason why we haven't fought is because im really happpy with this new guy.

The new guy is so gorgeous hes like realllly hot and such a gentlemen so far but  i only known him for about a week now. So its to soon. Some of my friends say he may just be trying to get into your pants but i don't know

What do i do??

Vance is right, when you love someone you don't just meet someone new so quickly.  Honest opinion, if your ex wants to be with you, he will and not say "we are on a break" and dangle you on a string and leave you with hopes or reconciling.  The new guy, sounds like he's playing the game.  Most likely to get in your pants.  However, the longer you wait to be intimate with him, the quicker he will show his true colors.  Give him and yourself a chance to get to know each other.  Don't use him as a rebound.

Why did your ex-want space? Do you love your ex? Do you want to be with him? Dating someone for over 1 year and then breaking up and you meeting this new guy, well it sounds like you really don't have that much to give the ex. What I mean is it sounds like you were either with him because you felt like that is what you were supposed to do or because it was confortable. It does not sound like you are in love with him.
