why do i hate sex?

could care less after 18 years of marraige if i ever have sex again. WHY?? i am on Zoloft, Synthroid, Birth Control pill, Aciphex and vitamins...any suggestions??? oh, and if i feel horny, i just masterbate in 30 seconds and get it over with.

Zoloft is not good for the sex drive (even for a guy).  But I wondered if you can get into it once it is started.  Sometimes it takes some physical and visual stimulation to get the other areas of the body moving in that direction.  Sort of like exercising... its not always easy to get going, but once you do you're happy that you did it.

I dont know why you are on Zoloft, but if it is for depression, you have to remember that you might have to push yourself to do the very things that you feel you dont want to do, whether it be going out, socializing, exercising, or sex.

I'm not saying that you have to have sex if you and your partner are happy with the current level, but dont forget that sex is an important part of an intimate relationship and it can help you feel more connected to your spouse.

I would say it is a combo of meds, as well as a selfish mate as well as a possible fluctuation in hormones. May wanna see a doc about this.

You masterbated so you feel the need to sexual satisfaction. Maybe medications have something to do with low sex drive or husband. If marriage is the cause of problems, seek individual or couple marriage counseling to get to the bottom of the problem

Also, after 18 yrs, you might just be board with the same old routine.
