Help me Please - Breathing in issue

Hi all,

My Dad started to breath strange. When he breaths in there is a strange sound of the air coming into the lung. It's like something is in the throat and making the breath in hard. But there is no problem with breathin out though. Also when he talks and then breaths in, ususallly this happens. But if he does not quite talk it's ok. He went to some Doctors, but since in our country doctors don't know ****, they are not being able to identify the issue; one is guessing that it might be because of alergy (it's causing the inside part of the throat big therefore you cannot breath. But another one is saying that something might have occured inside. However the record and the pictures of the throat does not show that there is something inside have occured.
Can someone please halp me or at least give an advoce???

Thank you,

Tell him to do this pranayam, three times a day, with concentration and eyes closed.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, thanks for query.

He might be having bronchitis or some infection in his lungs. In both cases the air pipe becomes narrow and makes sound when the breath is taken in as it has to go through a narrow passage. It does not produce any sound as the muscles are relaxed. He may need evaluation by a chest physician and treated accordingly. Continue with anti allergic drugs given and see a specialist. Give him warm liquids to drink, steam inhalation once daily.

Wishing you good health.
