Urethritis without Chlamydia or GC

I have had burning in my penis, pretty constant, for 5 days.  I had unprotected oral sex with a new partner 12 days before the symptoms appeared.  The inside of my urethra looks red.  I was tested for Chlamydia and GC, as well as Syphillis with Negative results.  I was given a single does of Azithromycin.  The symptoms have not subsided.  Can someone give me some ideas as to what is going on?

Overall that makes sense. Sore throat would have nothing to do with anything going on at your penis.

My Dr. said that my urine and blood samples showed no signs of infection.  He said that he thinks it is irritation.  I have a sore throat now and am unsure if it is related.  The burning is still there.  My doctor said to try advil and that if it doesn't go away, he will give me Doxycycline.

You are going to have to follow up with your Dr for maybe some more testing. Sounds like irritation more then anything. Normally bacterial infections cause discharge.
