I have discomfort in my penis and rectum for 15months its like a constant burning discomfort... i have been to about 10 different gum clinics and been tested for all sti's which keep coming back negative... i have been put on loads of different antibiotics such as doxycycline azithromycin metronidazole ofloxacin ciprofloxacin.... when this problem first started i was given azithromycin and metronidazole my symptoms went away for about a month or so then re appeared went back got tested again and results still negative... i have a camera put inside my penis still nothing.... i have recently been tested for mycoplsma and now waiting for results.... but some people are saying the amount of antibiotics i have taken already it would of cleared it up can someone answer this ? the urologist are saying possible prostatitis too ?

Yes that for sure could be another reason putting pressure on the spinlter muscle.

ok, the burning is so bad do u think if it was an infection doctors would of found it by now..... how about masturbation should i stop that aswell as i mastrubat everyday ? cos this be one other reason.
well i didnt go in today and i am properly gonna miss for a little while.... i use to go 5 days a week... u think i should stop all together or cut down to a couple days a week?

It would be best to confire with a doctor about this. Im only stating facts about the bacteria.

We all have this as is a normal bacteria and only becomes an issue it grows out of control. also i lives in the urinary track not the rectum and without any foul smelling discharges you can rule myco out.

yes not long enough. ripped muscle can take months to heal. Im leaving now for the weekend and back monday. Try taking some nice hot sit baths.

If its a pulled muscle you can telll the doctor for something for pain and std,s would certainly show up on tests but remember that there would be a white puss charge with std infections. The camera may or may not show anything but i would start by stopping the weight lifting for now for sure.

i would never of thought a pulled muscle would cause burning especially in that area and for this long ?

It would not show up a pulled muscle as it can be a small rip. Different type of wieght lifting would affect different muscles. i would stop squats for sure.

if it was a std what it show up in tests ?
my tongue has also been white for a very long time but i spoke to a few people and they said that could be from all the antibiotics i have been taking ?
and would u think its worth having the camera put in my rectum ?
ive tried stopping gym for a couple weeks but i didnt notice no improvements, do u think that wasnt long enough ?

mylcoplasma would affect your urethra not so much your anus

well its both but i cant tell whats being affected more coz its in that area and they are so close to each other. but i dont get no discharge or no burning when peeing
is there anything to help with this pain and what would u suggest me to ask my gp next?

Also your sphinker muscle in your anus is connected to your penis and when you ejaculate you can feel it in both area so may youve pulled and injured the spinker muscle from lifting weithgs?

oh i see... i have had a ct scan but nothing showed, i have a mri of the back in a couple weeks would this give me any idea on whats going on?

I say interior hemorrhids and is a reflex pain to your penis area. Lifting weights can put undo pressure on already injured rectum nerves. Buring is a injured nerve symptom and blood on the paper is a sign.

yeah... good answer i like the thinking... but my question would be why did the azithromycin work when this problem first occurred then couple months later it came back... some one said coz they have anti inflammatory is this true?

Hi, with infections that are std related there is often a white puss discharge from the penis and with out that you can pretty much rule out any std,s or inections in the urethra area. Burrning in the rectum could be related to hemorrhoids with also could appear in your penis as all the nerves are connected. It could also be a prostate infection. You can have your PSA checked and if hight could also be a sign of infection but with all the med you took i can see any infection taking place. What age are you and have you ever seen blood on the toilet paper?

hi, i have had a PSA blood test done and its fine... i have seen a little blood on toliet paper but it was on one occasion... doctor has looked in my rectum and cant see nothing on the outside but looks redish. the discomort is quite bad and its everyday cos the discomort is in that area i cant really tell if its coming from my penis or rectum if u get what i mean.. i am booked in to have a camera put in my rectum soon
I do go gym and lift heavy weights but not sure if this has anything to do with this but i this discomort is really horrible and need some help ?
the urologist did take a semen sample and said they see an infection in my semen related to my prostate put me on one month treatment of co amoxiclav which i have finished but still no improvment so im not sure if thats the cause of my discomfort
