Burning, chest hands and arms.

I am male had vaginal unprotected sex with female. Diagnosed hsv2 10 days later and took acyclovir 5 times a day for 10 days, may 16. I had hiv test on day 16 was negative. I also contacted person regarding history states she had test a month before our encounter not hiv? I was tested for clamidia , Ghonneria and syphillis.  I still have this burning worse at night and am concerned it could be dangerous sometimes hard to sleep. I am on 500mg of acyclovir. The burning started on June 13 and has not subsided and seems to be getting worse hands arms, chest and underarms but no where else at this time. Any ideas where to start on diagnosis and treatment?  Is this related to hsv2 or another problem?

Hi and welcome. Burning in the chest, hands and arms are not symptoms of STD,s. They would be a white penal discharge and/or burning or itching when urinating that happen about 5 days after exposure.

The best course of action is to make an appointment with your doctor and explain how your feeling. It might be anxiety related. If you tested negative for all these then you dont have them.
Also consider testing times to make sure you tested at the proper time.
