Can I have throat Gonorrhea or other STI?

I had oral sex and vaginal (only for 30 sec -1 min) with a guy. He ejaculated in my mouth. After two month I started to have some pain in my throat but was not swollen or red or any patches. I had tested at 16 weeks after the intercourse for HIV, syphilis, HSV1&2, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, hep B&C and all came out negative. Did not take a swab for Gonorrhea or Chlamydia from my throat though. After four month I began to feel my mouth burning and have a white tongue. Tested for Candida and is negative. After the tests I was on cefuroxime for 5 days, later on ciprofloxacin 4 days, metronydazole with claritromocine for 14 days. I still have a pain amd burning throat and mouth. Can it be gonorrhea in my throat?

Yes, it can be gonorrhea or chlamydia, which is something I need to test for orally. It's been very hard for me to find anyone to test for this orally in my area.

Hi, thanks for answering, but my question is If I had also oral and vaginal (even though was for less than 1 min) and I tested for Gono and Chlamydia and were negative on my vaginal test. Is it possible to not have it downstairs and have it only in my throat??
Also how long Will it stay
in my throat? More than 7 months have passed.
Could the antibiotics I had cured any?
I'm no expert but it seems like you would not be infected orally if you weren't infected vaginally, but your post suggests there longer activity in the oral region than the vagina.  If you were infected, whether you're cleared or not would depend on the dosage, length of time, etc.  I'm willing to be it would have already cleared unless it's super gonorrhea which is drug resistance.

If you really want to know, I say get a throat Sean done to test.  That is the only way you can really know, and since you've had oral activity I think it is a good idea for peace of mind.

Honestly, best of luck with this. I'm regretfully dealing with the same, and im testing for everything I can in all necessary locations.

I am dealing with the a act same thing. I regret my stupid decisions so much, Christ.

Well, the burning has maily stpped, don't know how or why.  I went to an ENT who said it was LPR, a type of silent acid reflux, but I don't know.

I think a lot of it was brought on by fear and anxiety over having a std.  Since ice calmed down the burning has stopped but the white in the back of my tongue refuses to go away.  I still don't know what's going on, but all I can do is test and hope for the best.  I try not to freak out.

Anyways, If you ever find out what's going on or resolve your issue PLEASE share on medhelp.  A lot of people seem to deal with this and there's been no real solution.  We all tend to think HIV because of the white tongue, but tests often come back negative.  Honestlt, I'm still afraid it is HIV or throat cancer from HPV.
