Can someone advise?

Hi

I am a person of Indian origin. I had a risky encounter about 2 years back in Michigan, US. I got myself tested for HIV 8 weeks, 8 months and 21 months after the incident - all negative.
In the 8 week later test, I also tested for Hepatitis, Syphilis and Herpes - all were negative.
In the 21 month later test, I also tested for Syphilis and Heatitis - all negative.

I could not get tested for Gonorrhoea and Chlymadia because the testing facility lost my urine samples. I am planning to get tested for them also.

I have following questions -

1. About 4 months after the exposure, there were two groups of bumps on the back of my tongue. They are symmetric and one doctor told me that they are normal. However, I am pretty sure they were not there before the encounter. Can this be caused by an STD?

2. For last 6 months or so (that is about 18 months after the exposure), I am experiencing some nasal discomfort which is seriously leading to problems in speech. I am planning to go to an ENT specialist also but would like to know if this also can be caused by any STD? Basically, I am having a lot of mucus in the nose and I get the feeling that my nose is stuffed (not in the way it happens during cold). So, many times, when I am trying to say  the word N, I speak L and vice versa. There are similar other speech related problems I am having.

3. I feel that I am also having excess thrush. However, if I clean my tongue before going to sleep, I have very little or zero thrush in the morning.

Well it's good rountine to test when you are unsure and just for general health practice.

Thanks Vance

Looks like they deleted my original post 2 years back. Basically, I had unprotected sex with a girl I barely knew.

1. Never heard of a STD causing this and your tests are conclusive. Gonorrhea and chlymida would not cause those symptoms.
2.No

Test for gonorrhea and chlymida if you want, but after 2 years I doubt that you have either. All other tests were conclusive.

What was your actual risk?
