Have used escorts, now have suspected ringworm - risks?

Hi,

I'm a hetro male, 34, from London UK desperately in need of advise.

In the past few months I've visited 6 different escorts in different brothels, specifically for protected hand-jobs, by which I mean ALWAYS with a condom. I'd assumed what I was doing was about as safe as it gets and these forums tend to agree.

However. I visited my doctors (regular, not STD specialist) because I've had a small area of dry skin/small cut on my forearm and another similar thing on my back for a few weeks, which haven't gone like scrapes normally do. He seemed fairly certain they weren't cuts, but ringworm. I knew nothing about ringworm, but essentially it's a very contagious skin infection caught from pets, touch, shared bedsheets and so on.

As I can rule out most causes, the shared bedsheets - from the brothels I visited - seems a very likely suspect. But the 'where' isn't really my concern.

My real concern is, what risk/s have I put myself at since I've been visiting these brothels, with ringworm? I've only ever had topless hand-jobs (with condom) but I didn't realise I had these small broken skin infections. It's possible the escort/s have touched them with their hands, and I have certainly laid the broken skin area on my back on bedsheets or towels that have probably had other clients or escorts secretions etc.

I don't want to rule anything out, although my understanding is HIV is very fragile and the odds of infection would be low. I'm thinking hep b,c are possibilities, and a host of others.

Really, really scared, any advise would be of comfort.

Thanks

you were never at risk for any std. having ringworm didn't increase your risk for anything either.

Thanks so much for replying.

I'm in an odd situation where my genitals aren't the area of concern/potential point-of-entry for STD/s.

Is there any chance what my regular (non-STD specialist) doctor thinks is ringworm is actually a syphilis chancre?

It occurs to me syphilis can be passed from touching a sore. Is it possible I touched/brushed a syphilis sore on one of the ladies with my forearm and that's what I've actually got?

I'm wondering if I visit to an STD specialist might be a good idea.

Thanks again.

For info on HIV and Hep post in those forums, but you had no risk even without a condom for STD's.
