First off, PLEASE only respond if you know what you are talking about. I am the type of person who freaks out over such issues.
I am a woman in my early 20's and I have not been sexually active in a little less than a year. However, the last time I was, we did not use protection. I have been tested negative for syphilis and gonorrhea since the last time I have had intercourse, and I have never had any problems down there before.
However, I have recently (within the last 4-5 days) had a single, small, red/pinkish bump appear near my labia. It is lifted from the skin just a tiny bit. I would have probably never noticed the bump if I would not have felt it. There is no whitehead, nor has not gotten worse or better during this time. It is does not hurt or itch, and there is no burning sensation while urinating. I have noticed a tiny bit of whitish discharge (I do not know if this is because I have been looking for it or if it is just normal), but no extreme amounts. I have also been applying small amounts of neosporin on the bump, but that does not seem to make a difference. I do shave down there regularly, but I almost feel like razor-burn bumps go away faster than this?
Please help! Any suggestions? Should I be worried or not?
the best thing to do is to be seen and get a proper exam done. you can also be tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too.
odds are this isn't herpes going on and it doesn't really sound like a wart either but it would take a proper exam to know for sure.
