Are these test anomalies indicating an STI?
I received unprotected felatio from a sex worker about 8-9 weeks ago. Symptoms started about 12 days ago; very frequent urination, slight tingling while going, terrible lower backache, sore testicles. At no point did I have any visible discharge, itching, other symptoms..
I saw an urgent care doctor a few days ago who ran urinalysis. The dipstick test in office was clear aside from showing blood in the urine. Specimen was sent off to culture, still haven't heard results (4 days). Doctor prescribed Cipro 500mg 2x per day for 1 week in case it was kidney or bladder related.
While on cipro, I started feeling much worse. Unsure if it was a reaction, or related/unrelated illness, (pretty sure it's the flu) I made a visit to the emergency room. The emergency room ran urine work, blood work, ct scan, xray, and ultrasound. I'll share the anomalies from the tests:
Ultrasound showed hydroceles
UA dipstick showed Blood .03 mg/dl.
UA Microscopic showed Mucus "Few/LPF"
UA 48 hour culture - no growth.
Lymphocyte # and % were pretty low.
Monocyte # was very slightly high.
Blood 36 hour culture - no growth.
With the information above, would it be likely that I have/had an sti? If yes, or no, could you point me to why you came to that conclusion? Thank you!

Do you still have symptoms? Get checked for a UTI or bladder infection. Get an STI swab. It's more accurate.
