Mycoplasma

I had unprotected oral sex in september now i had severe symptom but all test were negative.  Finally a doctor said it could be mycoplasma therefore i sent semen to get tested it was positive.  I guess the infection took to long to be treated now i have prostatit.  They said its non bacterial and antibio are not helping.  Any suggestion now my test negative but i still have symptom.

Thank for your help

Im just all mix up some people like prof Nicholson say its the worst thing other say its irrelevant.  The only thing i know i was peeing blood  2 days after receiving oral sex after that i got night sweats and people cant identify bacteria.   I was sure myco was my issue but it might be something else.   I just know i have a chronic prostatit and hope that i wont live like this).   Uro seen to think its incurable

many folks will test + for mycoplasma. we don't even treat it unless it's causing active symptoms.

don't hesitate to get a 2nd opinion from a different urologist if you aren't pleased with what this one is telling you.

Ya i sm but all this happend after oral sex i got tested and tested and everything until they found mycoplsma.  My urovsaid it was non pathogenic.  Let me doubt about i wss peeing and because they could not find the infection it got up to my prostate.  Uro is saying non bacterial how do can i believe that when i had acute infection after oral sex.  1000 a guys on web say the same thing.   The worst thing is its been 9 months and im reading alot on mycoplasma.   The only thing i understand some say it the cause of alot of chronic disease and its really bad and others say no big deal.   Doctor have never believe my story and that the sad part.

prostate issues are quite common in males, regardless of age. are you following up regularly with an urologist?
