Something would have been amiss with either white blood cells or some bacteria when they examined it.
I called my urologist and they said that they check the ph and sugar levels and look at a sample under a microscope for red or white blood cells. They said that everything looked good on mine. This was 12 days after exposure. Do you think that any infection that would cause white blood cells to be present, such as NGU would've shown up by then. Thanks.
Most of the time they look for general things in the urine, but you can call and see what they looked for and if they saw anything.
Thanks. I went to the urologist a few weeks ago and gave a urine sample to, I assume, test for UTI. Would this have picked up WBCs caused by NGU or do I have to specifically ask them to look for NGU? Thanks again.
You might, because testing for NGU is basically a urinalysis looking for different bacteria in the urine.
