Need Help!

Hi,

I had protected oral and vaginal sex with a prostitute in Canada exactly 3 weeks ago. I felt horible as soon as I left and became very anxious about the possibility of STDs as I have a girlfriend of two years that I love dearly but because of a fight and me drinking that night I made a stupid mistake which I feel extremely guilty about. After a week i felt a pain in my right testicle which made me nervous. I had no discharge, no pain during urination so I went to the ER and the do told me that he didn't think it was STDs. He also took two swab sample  from my penis for STD testing and also gave e Ofloxacin for 10 days since he thought the pain was due to an infection. Two days later I was still worried and so I went and saw my family doctor and he told me that STD's wouldn't make sense in my case since I didn't have symptoms to make it plausible. He told me the pain in my right testicle  was probably due to running injury which  had sustained the week before since I felt the pain from my lower right back and my entire right leg. He also told me to finish the antibiotics just in case. The pain went way in a few days and I finished the antibiotics after 10 days and me and my girlfriend got back together. As of yesterday I have felt an annoying itching sensation in my urethra and my penis but no discharge is observed. I'm very nervous as it has become worse. I don't have pain when urinating and my **** looks normal. How can this be possible after finishing the antibiotics. I don't want to tell my GF about this because I know she will dump me and it will break her heart. I'm so depressed and ashamed of myself. Please help me!!

Its possible, or its possible that whatever is going on in there didn't respond to the Ofloxacin.

You need to follow up with your doctor.

The itching pain is more like a burning sensation now but there's still no urinating pain and no discharges. How can I get this after 10 days of Ofloxacin? Is it possible that the antibiotic caused another infection to grow i my urethra?  Please advise

Sure it could be anxiety, but its always a good idea to rule out a physical cause first.

Thanks for your comment. I don't drink coffee at all maybe once a week and I drink plenty of water about 4L a day. Could this all be anxiety related? I have been worried and thinking about this situation non stop for the last 3 weeks. I will call my doctor again this week just to make sure.

An itch isn't an std symptom, and can be caused by many things.  If you are not drinking enough water, or taking in too much caffeine or alcohol, you could have irritation in your urethra.

If changing that doesn't change things over the weekend, follow up with your doctor.  Its incredibly unlikely that you would get an std from protected everything.
