Is there any risk of contracting an infection from being fingered?

My doctor said as long as it doesn't have a foul smell or cause itching, it's alright. Thank you for your help!

See your Dr for proper diagnosis. As I said and you know it is not STD related.

I've been checking my discharge for a few days now. I think the yellowing's due to it drying up. I did the close-up visual and sniff test a few times and didn't really notice anything unpleasant. I've never had genital-to-genital sex, so I'm not worried about STDs. I've read on a few posts here that you can't contract them through digital stimulation. Just paranoid about bacterial infections I guess.

When you say discharge here are you refering to when you are sexually aroused and trying to get things going?    If so it might be normal.

However having discharge at any other time, like if its constant and you've had unprotected sex then, it might be something worth seeing a doctor for.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I've noticed though that my discharge has been on the light yellow side. No odor, no discomfort, no increase in amount. What could that mean?

Not a STD. Probably other bacteria if hands were dirty but again not a STD.
