Ofloxacin medication

After having unprotected sex the head of my penis got itchy in the inside of the hole and had a very little amount of discharge.  I searched the net to find the answer and the closest to my symptom is urethritis. Upon reading through the forums related to STDs, found out that some folks were prescribed with ofloxacin. Without consulting a doctor, I am self medicating now after googling what's ofloxacin is for. 3 days ago I took 2 400mg and subsequently 200mg every 12 hours. So far, the irritation when I'm urinating and the tingling has subsided significantly. My question is, shall I still continue taking the ofloxacin until the 7th or 10th day from the day I started taking it?

As of this writing, I don't see any visible discharge from my penis but there was a stain in my underwear (2 small spots). Please help. Thanks

We never recommend self medication. I suggest stoping medication, waiting 2 weeks and seeing a Dr for some testing.
