Unexplained Symptoms

Need your valuable input doctor…

My exposure:
End Jan 11 - Unprotected oral sex with CSW
Mid Apr 11 - Unprotected oral sex with CSW + she penetrated me unprotected for 3 seconds (I was drunk)

Symptoms:
- In May, muscle aches and pain started - lasted till now (off on), so about 7 months already. Started with back pain, then moved to hands and legs. At times, can be very painful and affects my well-being.
- In Aug, I had a flu which went off after about 10 days, but developed rhinitis - blocked airways till now. Seen ENT doctor, who did a scan and said there is no inflammation, and gave me some antibiotics, steriods and nasal spray, but did not cure completely, though it got better. He says need operation to completely cure it.
- In Oct, areas around neck and armpit area also started to ache, sometimes painful when you touch them (but not swollen - after having checked by a doctor) - still feel it from time to time now, especially left arm and right knee area.
- Late Nov, had 5 rashes (not sure heat rash) around waist area – went off after 2 days. 1 looked like a ringworm, and the others just slightly longish, slightly red. Came with mild sore throat (went away after a day with medication), mild fever (went away after a day with medication), cough, runny nose and diarrhea (for 5 days).  Immediately after this, some mild rashes (like mild pimples) came on the inside thighs area.
- Headaches (not the normal type) came and went, usually lasting only a day each time.

I had 2 CBCs - (i) end June (does not include HIV testing) - no irregularities; and (ii) 5 Nov 11 (together with Elisa test) - all normal except lymphocites slightly high at 49% (normal = 20 to 45)

Did two rapid tests on 4 Nov 11 and 1 Elisa test on 5 Nov 11 - all came back negative.

I posted a similar question in HIV forum, and the advise is I move on with the negative tests results.

However, what are these symptoms? What can they be?

Your response would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback.

So nothing relates to STD?...including HIV?

The pain and trauma suffered all these months have taught me a huge lesson. I will never engage in such activities any longer, let alone unprotected.

I am sorry for asking again, but the worry has killed me more than 90%.  I am living in fear nowadays.

this is not the doctor's forum- you have to pay to post there.

absolutely nothing you've posted about sounds std related.

in the future, best to only give and receive protected oral sex to any partner who's status you aren't sure of and involved in a ltr with. protects you and saves you all this worry!
