"Protected" Condom Sex with Professional Sex Worker

Dear Doc,

A couple of days ago I visited a professional sex worker. I've noticed that she had big marks of rape os somekind of abuse. She put me a condom, cleaned my body with wet wipes and started doing me oral sex. After a few minutes she inserted my penis into her vagina and very gently started to move up and down...it took me a minute before I pushed her away telling her that I want oral sex only. She continued with oral sex... After the intecourse I asked for a wet whipe and pulled down the condom, not touching it. Than I went to the bathroom and washed my penis with soap - I used a lot of soap and water, but didn't take a shawer. I didn't touch her vagina nor mouth, but massaged her breasts. I've been reading articles and formums for STDs since than and got VERY CONFUSED. I guess some of her vaginal fluids got in touch with my body or some saliva got in touch with my body.

Please tell me what are the chances I got STDs from the described stupid mistake I made?

I'm SCARED TO DEATH about my family as I have a life and we've been trying to have a baby.

Hi London08 and Auntiejessi,

As I told you I've had "protected sex" with my wife. I was very careful with the condom not to pass any fluids...Since I don't have any bumps or other unusual things, I hope the sex with condom was safe for her.

I couldn't wait until Monday and decided to take medicines as precousion. I took 1x ciprofloxacin 500mg and 1/2hour later 1 suspense of 2g Zmax (Azithromycin). I hope now that if I had any STDs, they should be DEAD.

Please tell me how much time is needed to Kill these bacterias after taking the above mdeicines.

Please also advise if I may have passed bacterias to my wife having gentle sex with a condom, which I putted before I even touched her naked body. I do hope I didn't pass her any STD desease.

PLEASE EASE MY MIND WITH YOUR REPLIES

Hi My Friends,

I just got back from the doc and she refused to test me for gonorea and chlamydia. She told me that I must have rectal discharge, not just itching. I'll try to test in another clinic on Monday. Can I just test in a clinic lab without visiting another doctor? Do I have to take sample myself and just give it to the lab?

Hi Auntiejessi and London08,

It has been a week since my exposure. Can I test for gonorea and chlamydia now? or I should wait longer?

I don't have any symptoms and I have "protected" sex with my wife..I'm trying to be careful, but who knows??!!

The only symptoms I imagine perhaps is a very slight itching of my anus. Do I have to have intense/strong itching or slight itching could be symptoms?? My work is on a computer spending 8hours sitting on a chair...could be because of this or could be something else??

I agree that your chances are VERY low, but I also think that you aren't going to be able to relax until you get some negative results.

Its a shame that your doctor didn't just test you for gonorrhea and chlamydia when you were there.  I think that would have helped ease your mind.

Your baby is quite safe.  No std is passed by casual contact, even hugging or kissing.

Hang in there,
AJ

Hi London08,

I just got back from the clinic where the doctor told me that I have nothing to worry about. The doc said that all these STDs aren't that easy to catch, so probably I cought mental deseas rather than STDs.

Even though this may sound funny, I still have some concerns. I'll make tests for syphillis and all the rest, probably in a month or so. The main issue is that we are practising unprotected sex at home. It will be very odd if suddenly I change my habits and start using condoms at home. What should I do?

The red bump the doc said is just a normal infection, not related to Herpes.

Thank you again for your support and answers. I wish you all success after you graduate from the medical university.
