Protected ! RASH!

I know that condoms may have been man's greatest invention.. It's the brain the kept me stressing out, here's my story. About two months ago I have engaged in a sexual encounter with a CSW (PROTECTED), It was probably the worst two months in my life. On week 7, I have food poisoning with low grade fever that cleared up in ONE day.

Week 10, I suddenly broke into Rash out of nowhere, It's Red and itchy all over my back and my face. I took Zyrtec and it cleared up the next day. My question is, why of a sudden did the rash appeared? Maybe it's an allergic reaction on something but, I never had an allergic to anything except Cats and When I'm being exposed to dirty places
(Those places with lot's of dust, air dust whatever.. DIRTY) I remembered one time I broke into this similar rash when I wore a jacket that's REALLY REALLY DIRTY, It has gotten me into HIVES. Maybe the characteristics of the RASH I got at weeks 10+ are HIVES, but how do you tell them apart from STD rashes? THEY are really ANNOYING and Itchy! . Again, I was surprised about the medication I took, Zyrtec which cleared up the rash in one day.

I'm now having mild sore throat, Didn't feel like anything though.. But it's kinda annoying.

Like I have said, Condoms are man's greatest invention but why is it that I'm having these symptoms?

Weird.

Thank you for reading. (Sorry about my grammar)

at this point any symptoms you have aren't likely to be related to your encounter.  many of other germs out there that are easily contracted from touching contaminated surfaces as well as just breathing within 3 feet of others .

I would agree with electricity :) Thankyou for the post. So I don't need any testing? Even if symptoms appear? Like rash, diarrhea, fever?? Just curious. Thanks man, appreciate that.

I'm going with electricity as greatest invention myself...went without it far too much in the last month and wouldn't want to go without it  :)

a rash this long after the encounter is meaningless. No std related rash would go away in a day.

we recommend protected sex and protected oral sex because it works!  Yes it's not 100% protection but it really helps and you really have no real reason to be worrying about having contracted a std from a 1 time protected encounter.

lol Condoms are men's greatest invention in the relation to STD preventions, that's what I meant. (Math is also) Anyway, Thanks for sharing your experience.

You know those days right? When only two words meant a life to you
(If only...) I'm facing such anxiety and it's driving me crazy, I don't think it's STD related at first, but I kept thinking! What if blah blah and yeah, it's so much of a pain in the you know what.

Frankly, I'm paranoia about this. Really wanna get over it man.
(BLOOD TEST)

Thank you :)

Any more comments? anyone?

Hello

Its okay about your grammar, I usually get the gist.  And trust me it was actually pretty darn good, in comparison to what I have seen here (I hope that sends out a positive message out there).

Okay, so first I wanna say, condoms aren't man's best invention.  I think it would have to be math.

Seconds as far as the rash.   I remember one time I slept with a girl (protected) who I shouldn't have done that with.   I kid you NOT, not 2 weeks later I came down with a rash all over my body.  It was so bad I couldn't sleep, it itched so much.   Back then I was too crass to even think about STDs, that might have saved my anxiety or something.  But that was the only time in my life I've ever had a rash; so who knew.

I dunno, I am a pretty normal guy like yourself, pretty healthy and I do know what you mean when you say, "I've never had a rash".   Apparently this is not true as you've had one already.  Your rash is NOT related to your exposure in any way.

You are having these symptoms because  life happens.  And you should not associate them with STDs.    Go home.
