What causes testicular pain (left one), small red dot and spots on the head of the penis and some itch on the scrotch? Already tried Clortrimazol for 1 month... nothing happened... any ideas? Thanks

Thank you so much, it is kind of weird becuase when I take a shower and use the cream, the inflammation goes down also does the pain. So I think it is kind of working.

sometimes you have to change to a different medication. in fact you should if symptoms aren't markedly better after a week of use.  plenty of otc choices out there to try.

Everything points out to a yeast infection, why didn't clotrimazol cure it? That's the big problem.

best thing you can do is to continue to follow up on your pain. sometimes an ultrasound of the testicle is helpful if pain continues.

I went to two different doctors in order to get evaluation. One of them told me it was not related to an STD but all these symptons started when I had a risky relation. Already tests for all STDs (not herpes) and I'm clean. But never presented painful lesion and herpes wouldn't explain the testicular pain. Same as any fungal infection, it explains the red dot and spots but don't the testicular pain. Thank you.

this can be many things going on like a fungal infection that isn't responding to the medication you tried, eczema, irritation, hernia etc.

have you been back to your provider for further evaluation?
