Scared ! Please help !

I'm a 16 year old girl and I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time on January 23rd . Neither of us have had sex with anyone else before . But I'm saying all this cuz today , "downstairs" was feeling dry and because it was dry it was itchy so , well I itched it . And later on I noticed that the inner part of the left outer lip was swollen and had a purplish tint to it !? It doesn't hurt , it Ian bothering me and it's not itchy . But I'm just concerned ! I don't think it's an std or some  crazy infection or anything . But could it be that I maybe popped a vessel and it bled out and swelled up ? Please help  !

your pediatrician is just fine for this even.  You can also switch to a family medicine practitioner or an internal medicine practitioner. Both can deal with cold and flu issues as well as gyn/reproductive issues :)

even lubricated condoms still need extra lube. It helps keep the condom from ripping as well as results in more pleasure for you both :)

I know it's time . I told my mom I didn't want to go to the pediatrician anymore because I was 16 . And she said we could go to the Gynecologist . But we haven't . I have gotten my gardisil shots and no there was no lube .

if you are going to be sexually active, it's time for a proper exam and talking about using more than just condoms with your partner to prevent pregnancy.

have you had your gardasil shots too?

not likely to be a std but many things that need looked after it could be. You are over 14 so you don't need parental permission to be seen by a doctor.

did you use extra lube with the condom?

I'm afraid to tell my mom about it . I don't want her to think I have something . It's relieving that the chances of it being an infection are low . Thanks that kinda made me feel better ! I don't use birth control but we did use a condom . So that should mean I didn't get anything from him , right ? I mean we've done "stuff" with other people , but the person I did it with never did anything with anyone , and same for my current boyfriend . So would that mean the chances are even slimmer , to none ?

this could be many things from irritation to infection. at this point, you being seen is the best course of action. the only std it could be would be hsv1 genitally if you were both virgins before this so it's low risk of being a std.

do you use birth control?

did you use a condom?

make an appointment to be seen to get tested for vaginal infections like yeast and bacterial vaginitis and an exam for better answers.
