Stinging sensation at tip of penis

For the past week and a half I've had a stinging sensation in my urethra at the tip of my penis. It comes and goes but it's definitely sore. No discharge and it doesn't burn when I pee (actually peeing relieves it a bit), although it was sore after an orgasm yesterday. No visual symptoms.

I initially noticed it when soaping up my groin area in the shower. Washed the soap away and the pain was gone, but it keeps coming and going ever sense.

I have had multiple sexual partners in the past few weeks, both protected intercourse but unprotected oral sex which leaves vulnerability for a bacterial infection. With the lack of other STI symptoms I didn't start becoming concerned about it until yesterday when it was still lingering and possibly becoming a bit worse.

Does this sound like an STI that I should get a test or probably something like urethritis? I wouldn't describe as very painful, just more uncomfortable when I'm noticing it.

Thanks for any feedback.

Omg dude going through the same thing right.  Now. You definitely need a doctor so he she can give you some cream. And take test just in case. My kind of went away. I noticed my urethra a little red and opens wider but no pain. Just a little tingling. All my test came back neg. don't know what it might be. Let me know what happens with you. But sounds like a bacterial infection
