Strange test result?

I got the results back today from an STD test. They said my urine was100% fine but that there was a "slightly positive" result in the semen sample. They said it ment that there were some bacteria but inconclusive to determine which kind? When I asked if I have an STD or what they said no no but there were some bacteria. Now they want to switch me to another antibiotic. I'm on Cipro now but they want to try something more aggro for chlamydia and they want another sperm sample? Does this make sense?

Would chlamydia/gon show up 100% positive?

Yes (not sure about the hemorrhoids). When the MD touched/pushed the prostate it hurted. I felt a burning sensation all the way up to the head of my penis. He didn't mention if it was swollen. Since I've already have had two clinical proven prostatitis in the past he said it was yet again prostatitis. I had to give morning urine sample (peed in the cup from the first drop) and semen sample BEFORE I started Cipro, which I did.

Would gonn/chlamydia have been noticed in my urine sample? For 100% sure? It would have left traces of pus/bacteria right??

Yes I've continued to have symptoms. I have a very painfull feeling between my scrotum and my anus. Sometimes it feels like a hot stone inside, sometimes it feels like a muscle twitch. Sometimes it's VERY painfull and sometimes it's just an annoying feeling, like when your foot is sleeping. Now and then I also have a burning sensation when I urinate. It also hurts if I have to make stool. I have the feeling it makes my testicles hurt also but the original pain is def comming from the area between my scrotum/anus. Sleeping seems to make it better, if I wake up at night the pain is not so intense.

I don't (and never had) have a fever, I don't (and never had) have a discharge from my penis.

They said urine sample was perfect, no pus and no bacteria. Then they said the semen sample wasn't possitive but it wasn't 100% negative either, there were some traces of bacteria. I have an appointment tomorrow on which I have to bring a new sample. I said on the phone that I still have a lot of pain and the doc said he was gonna try some other antibiotics (I think I will still have to continue to take Cipro, not sure).

If I asked "is this an std?" The doc said no no get that out of your head but you still need to continue to use a condom until we get results from the second sample? Is it always adviced to use condoms while having prostatitis?

we usually test for chlamydia with either urine or an urethral swab, not a semen sample.  If your chlamydia test came back negative, odds are it's a different bacteria in your semen. have you continued to have symptoms?

we usually use cipro for most prostatitis infections so I'm not sure what they are planning on changing you to?

Not sure why they want a sperm sample. Bacteria can be detected but if you had gonorrhea or chlamydia it should be positive.
