Tranmission of Hand with Herpes whitlow to other body parts and genital

Hi ,

   I have some question on the Herpes virus. Actually, I went for a massage by a lady. The lady performed full body massage on me and also masturbation with oil using her hand. After the incident, my body feel itchy immediately i went home for the rest of the 2 days. Now, the itchiness recur. I have no open sore,blister and lession on my pennis.
I wonder would I catch herpes I/II this way. For what i know, the lady may have hand herpes/herpes whitlow. So, it may have transmistted from her hand to my pennis during masturbation or when she massage my body. I am afraid the symptons may not be present on her hand but the virus may be shedding that make her the asymptomatic carrier.Do i need to go for the herpes test? Is the Herpes I/II IGG test is the Type Specific Serology Test u mentioned in this forum?

  Please help as i am worried whether should i go for the test and what if the test come out positive???

I don't know how you could have gotten chlamydia if you've never had sex, either.  I would question those results.

I agree with Grace- sounds like an allergic reaction and not herpes, HIV, etc.

If you are suffering mentally, and anxiety is not new for you, please post in the anxiety forum.

You get itching everytime you go to the spa - sounds more like a reaction to one of their products they are using.

You are worrying about this needlessly. THIS ISN'T HERPES.  It's time for you to move past that possibility. Your problem is anxiety at this point more than anything.  There are forums for that here on medhelp.

Hi,

   Actually i try to make myself less wory .. but i can't because i have a bad experience several years ago. During that time, i went to spa centers for massage two/three times a month. I didn't have any sex with the massage lady but only massage plus some extra like fingering the lady's vagina, masturbation with hand and breast done by the massage lady. These are the limits I can go. Howerver, there was one day, my whole body feel itchy and there was rash. So, i went for the testing, when the result out, i was infected by this chlymidia. So, it make me very worry about this HIV infection From there one, i went for many times of testing for HIV with elisa and even PCR. My mental suffer a lot.

So, i didn't went to spa for massage long long time only until recently. I can't resist the temptation of being masturbated  by the massage lady who was half naked. I feel very guilty now and i now experiences the symptons i encountered several years ago.

Actually, my itchiness start exactly 20 days after the last massage. It have been already seven days, my symptons still persist ?

  I am still wondering how come i can be infected by chlymidia several ago even though i didn't have any sex at all. So. my case is very unique and exceptional. Until now, i also think this way.

I intend to do a STD test 3 months later, but my worry is causing me mental breakdown.

I have worked in std clinics for years.  I also have herpes.

Please check our expert forums here if you need more reassurance from a doctor.  You don't need to post - the question is answered several times a day.

You are at NO risk here.  I didn't read the story you posted, but I don't have to.  You don't get herpes from a hand job.

I have been reading a lot of forums... and i come across a case whereby a singaporean guy infected with herpes by a massage lady after receiving groin message from the lady because the massage lady didn't clean her hand after performing massage on the previous customer. Most people don't know they have oral or genital herpes.  If she had hand herpes, she would know.  Its a very painful thing.  

And if she had hand herpes, and didn't have an outbreak, she isn't infectious.  While someone with oral or genital herpes can shed the virus without symptoms, hand herpes does not shed like that.  She would ONLY be contagious WITH a sore on her hand.

You are freaking out for NOTHING here.  

Herpes doesn't cause all over body itching, but stress and anxiety surely can.  Maybe try a benedryl and see if that helps.

Hi,

   Now my whole body is very itchy from the leg to the head. I am concerned with what if the lady has hand herpes which she dont know and she dont have outbreak and symptons at all and she is a carrier. Most of the people infected with herpes wont know because they dont have outbreak or symptons. However, they can transmit the virus to other people through contact because the virus may be shedding on the skin.

   My other concern is what if the lady know she has hand herpes and her lession/blister just healed and she is able massage my body without discomfort. The virus may still be found on the surface of her hand.

  Oh i am freaking out now. My hand is very itchy now. .. Please help....
Even an accurate blood test should wait until 3/4 months ..

I agree.

Herpetic Whitlow is rare, and if the woman had a herpes sore on her hand, it would be painful and I doubt she'd be doing much with that hand.

itchyness from the body isn't a symptom of herpes. There's no way of contracting genital herpes by mastrubation.
