Gonorrhea after-treatment effect question..

I have been diagnosed with Gonorrhea last Monday and have received treatment. My doctor gave me two kinds of antibiotics, the first (Azith) I had to take for 3 days, then the other one (Doxycyclin) I had to take for 10 days twice a day (which I am still taking now). The doctor also injected me with Ceftriaxon (not sure about the spelling) last Wednesday. After the injection, the doctor assured that I was okay, and I believed the doctor because I was feeling better. The weekend after the injection (which is last weekend), me and my partner did foreplay and I came. I cleaned myself right after ejaculating because I fear that the disease may come back.

The day after, I started urinating more often.  Even if I don't drink too much water, I urinate frequently.
I didn't even feel this when I was diagnosed with Gonorrhea. My frequent urination only occurred the day after me and my partner had foreplay. (To be honest, it wasn't really much of a foreplay, we just "grinded" with our clothes on, and kissed) Also, I missed taking my daily dose of Doxycilin that day because I had to do some business and forgot to bring my meds with me, but I don't think that's the thing that caused my frequent urination. (or is it?)

My questions are:
1. Why am I urinating so frequently?
2. Do I have to wait for my medication to be over (since I am still taking the Doxycylin because I have to take this for 10 days. I have to take it until Friday since I missed taking it last Sunday)
3. Even before I had Frequent Urination and after I have received treatment (this is the time when I don't have yellow-greenish precum anymore), I started noticing that I am having precum easily after erection. What is the cause of this?
4. I have read here that frequent urination is not a symptom of gonorrhea (although other sites claim that it is), is this true?

Note: I think the medicines worked because the yellow greenish discharged went away the day after I took my first dose of the Azith.

Also, do I still have Gonorrhea because I have these symptoms (frequent urination, precum easily, constipation) even if I don't have the green discharge anymore?

Okay, Thank you very much. I'm sorry, but my gf will visit the doctor on Tuesday, and I will visit mine on Wednesday and we are really eager to know what's wrong (if there really is something wrong) which is why I keep on posting. Now, I think I'm constipated because it took me like 30 minutes when I was in the bathroom. Also, its still easy for me to have precum when I have erection. But I don't have any yellow or green discharge anymore.

My gf still has the white discharge, though not frequently. She also says that she sometimes feel a pain in the abdomen for about three seconds.

Medication can cause yeast infections, but she should follow up with her Dr.

I have not heard of UTI's being common after a gonorrhea diagnosis.

Thanks for answering. Is it common to have UTI right after being diagnosed with gonorrhea?

Also, I have to ask another thing. My girlfriend feels that she is having discharge that, she feels, aren't normal. We have informed the doctor about this during her pap smear last Tuesday and the doctor said they were just normal discharges. However, she feels that the discharges had gotten worse. She says its white and sticky.
She also said that she was fine the whole day today except that she felt pain near the abdomen but it was just for awhile. Do you have any ideas on what the problem may be?

Last tuesday, after her pap smear, the doctor prescribed Cefuroxime (she bought ZInat) to her again. Does this medicine have something to do with the discharge and/or the pain she felt near the abdomen a while ago?

Okay, maybe I'll have a urinalysis next week to find out why I am urinating so frequent. It might be UTI, you think? Anyway, I will post the results of the test next week. Thank you for all your help.

your provider pretty much covered you for gonorrhea and chlamydia as well as ngu.  it's covered most of the bases.

stop back and let us know how it all turns out.

Thank you very much for answering. Sorry if I had to post twice.

Yes she had been tested and currently being treated. I said "being treated" because she still urinates frequently as well, but as you've said, frequent urination isn't a symptom of gonorrhea.

Her treatment was two shots (injection) of antibiotics (though I'm not sure if they really were antibiotics, I don't have the prescription right now) and a shot of vaccine. She also took two tabs of Azith. The doctor also did pap smear, gram test and urinalysis on her and we are waiting for the results.

Since frequent urination isn't a symptom of gonorrhea, do you have any ideas on what the problem is?

Also, I forgot to include in my post that I, too, underwent gram stain before the doctor prescribe me medicine. I don't know how to interpret the results that they gave me but it says

Cocii in pairs - positive - occasionally
baccili - positive - occasionally

I removed your other post since it was pretty much the same. please read our read before posting post as to the rules of posting on this forum - thanks!

frequent urination isn't a symptom of gonorrhea. I recommend going to be seen again and get urine testing done to check for other infections. the one dose of ceftriaxone was all it took for your gonorrhea so not an issue that you missed a dose of doxy.

has your gf had full std testing and treatment also?
