That really is a question that has to many variables to answer. Oral sex is considered safe sex with only a few std's possible and theyou are unlikely.
hi, i was not comparing unprotected oral sex (as receiver ) VS unprotected vaginal intercourse. I was comparing unprotected oral sex (as receiver) VS protected vaginal intercourse.
I mean, people keep saying using condom for vaginal intercourse is highly effective. how effective condom (for vaginal intercourse) as compared to unprotected oral sex (as receiver)? Thanks.
Very low risk from kissing. Nearly zero if no cold sore is present.
Yes hiv is rarely if ever contracted that way.
Receiving oral sex is a low risk exposure. Hsv1, gonnerhia and ngu are the only real possibility and those are extremely low risk. Syphilis is possible but highly unlikely and is extremely rare for receptive oral sex.
Unprotected vaginal Intercourse is far riskier than oral. Hsv2,chlamydia,gonnerhia,ngu,syphilis,hpv and hiv are all possibilities. Hiv and syphilis are unlikely due to syphilis in the US is uncommon in hetero couples and hiv is a long shot. The others are common. Oral sex is much safer. Now condoms will offer great protection for all std's. It's not perfect for herpes or syphilis but still very effective.
