Possible syphillis?

I've posted in the expert forum on my situation already and have been assured that I didn't have an exposure. A few weeks ago I performed unprotected cunnilingus on an escort in Vegas, I received protected oral and protected intercourse.  Now a few weeks later I have what appears to be a possible chancre on my lower lip.  I now plan to be tested for syphillis.  Since this encounter I've only had receptive unprotected oral from my GF.  If I did contract syphilis, could it be transmitted through semen? I wore a condom during my time with the escort and have no sores or lesions on my groin.  Any information about transmission would be appreciated.

Thanks for your response.  I'm getting test due to the sore showing up at the appropriate time and somewhat resembling a chancre but mostly doing it for peace of mind.

No, syphilis is transmitted from direct contact with a syphilis sore. And an American woman to have syphilis is very very very low.
