hi i recieved oral sex on march 16 then got tested on march 17 it took 2 weeks for my results to come in and everything was normal do i need to be tested again or are these results reliable

not to scare you but there are window periods for most stds to test for.
gonorrhea- 3 days
chlamydia- 7 days
syphilis- 6 weeks

you cannot get hiv from oral, so don't worry about that. And it is really rare to get an std from oral sex so relax a little bit and go back and test at 7 days for the STI's and syphilis at 6 weeks.

well if it was me i would trust the doctors, if you went in for testing and told the doctors you were exposed the day before and they still tested you then im sure the doctors thought that if you had anything it would show up on the test. Though you can get tested again if you think it would make you feel better.

ok so your saying even though i got tested 1 day after exposure the tests are accurate or reliable

i am not doctor but personally i would say that the tests are very reliable, these people are trained to do this and i would say you are more then likley 99.9% fine, nothing is ever for sure i suppose but if all the tests came back negative im sure your fine.
