Testing time line for brief oral contact

29 months ago I had a glancing (no more than an instant) oral contact on my penis from a stripper of unknown STD status. I was not tested for NGU/etc at the time due to the minimal contact and lack of symptoms.

I have follow up questions:

a. I was tested for NGU 5 months ago and came back negative, but I am not sure if they tested for gonnorhea or other items as I didn't keep the results.

- Is it normal to test for gonnorhea/ as part of the NGU test (swab inside my uretha)

b. If I did catch gonnorhea from the encounter 29months ago (unlikely), it would have either (a) been symptomatic or (b) cleared by now (HHH says that gonnorhea and clymidia clear by now (+2 years) in both females and males without treatment.

In other words, my negative test for NGU 5 months ago probably indicated clearance of gonnorhea / clhymdia and if I had if from 29 months ago, it is likely gone either way.

So basically, I should not worry about me or my girl at all at this point?

Tested bacterial & aids, all neg, but never tested for HSV or syphilis. No symptoms of either 3 years after. I thought symptoms would be present by now if I had it, I suppose symptoms could be repressed.

Should I go ahead and test for this? Was told the odds of either would be very, very, very, very long. If I should test, it's just HSV/syph to test? Any recommendation on online ones?

I appreciate you saying I have no risk and am inclined to agree, but could you help me with one other thing?

1. The STD test I received was a swab inside my urethra, I lost the test results, but they were negative across the board. Can you confirm that the items usually tested are

- gonnorhea
- chlymida
- NGU

2. I WAS not tested at the earlier date (29 months ago), is it possible that I caught any of the above (unlikely), and passed it to my girlfriend in the time between the two encounters? Or does my negative test absolve the earlier exposure (not sure how long gonnorhea/clymdia stay in the body?

Thanks.

Hi, to contract an std like gono, your penis would have to been in contact with the back of her throat, back by the tonsils, if she did not give you a deep throat oral then the chances caught them is close to zero. However, if she had a cold sore on her lip, there would be a risk for herpes.
