STDs through fingering/rimming?

Last weekend I had a sexual encounter with another man. I got rimmed and fingered, like, a lot (6 times, I think). That was unprotected (how could you use protection during rimming/fingering?). Anyway, the following day I noticed strange, white "mucus like" thing covering my stool. It has continued to appear ever since.

My question is, can you get chlamydia, gonorrhea, or something else through fingering/rimming, or could it just be my rectum's reaction to the heavy "use" it had to experience?

you would certainly be the exception to the norm if you contracted anal gonorrhea from this.

Went to see a doctor today and it was gonorrhea (seen under microscope, the "more precise test" is under way).

Hence, apparently you can get gonorrhea via fingering/rimming (actually, according to my doctor, it is a common misunderstanding to think that oral sex should be safe).

Just to let you know this...

it's really unlikely you'd contract a std from semen on someone's fingers.

flavored condoms can be cut open and laid over the anal area for rimming.  far cheaper than a dental/oral dam.  fingering is not a risk but some extra lube is always a good thing for it :)

mucous in the stool is usually just fat. if it continues, see your provider but it's not likely to be a std from this encounter.

Is that true even if the person doing the fingering jacks himself off every once and a while and then continues to finger (I guess that you got the idea). That means that we would first touch his genitals with the fingers (possibly getting precum on them) and then insert them into the anus. That could, theoretically, transmit something, right?

Hello

You describe a no risk situation for chlamydia and every other STD from getting rimmed and fingered.    Low risk for other STDs, that I wouldn't even worry about it.

You can use protection from rimming (mainly for the person giving it rimming), by using a protected sheet.   Similar to ones used for cunnilingus.
