do i have an std?

hello, a few days back after unprotected sex i noticed whitish discharge with no smell. my gf was tested and it came back al negative although she had an itch,,she was told it was just a fungal infection. i was given flagyl but it did not help. the doctor then gave me some ciproflaxin which helped for a day only. now the discharge is back+ an itch in the urethra. i wanted to ask whether it is posible for a guy to contract fungal infection? what can my case be?

They could but if your not having burning while urintating thats a good sign. Ive read different things about periods and uti.s
At his point it would be best to have  follow up with your health care provider

Hi and welcome. According to  the Mayo clinic it is possible for a male to get a fungal infection from sexual intercourse with a women who has one but it is not common. They refer the female fungal infection as a yeast infection, commonly by Candida..
What tests were performed on her?
