if you have another partner you want to protect, keep your underwear on - no risk if she has hers on you and you have yours on.

As Vance2335 pointed out, probably not. Syphilis is rare amongst most people but can be possible to contract. The likelihood of that happening is low, very low. Herpes is also low chance but still probable. You will not catch anything from no sex body to body contact. It is not possible.
Will you be hit by lightening? Probably not, just like you probably will not get a STD.
Hi,
Thanks again for the information. So, does this mean that I have a chance of getting syphilis or herpes if I go for an erotic massage, where the lady and I both will be nude, there will be lot of skin to skin contact including the genitals (but no sex).
Thank you for the answer.
If condoms were used 100% in oral sex, vaginal sex, and anal sex, the risk for gonorrhea is none. However, it is true that condoms are not 100% effective in cases of herpes and syphilis. The condom only protects the penis, from the urethra to the end of the penile shaft. Syphilis is more location based in its first stage with the chancre so yes, the condom cannot provide 100% safety against Syphilis both geographically with the body area infected and physically with the condom's protective coverage of the genital area.
Hi Aelly,
Thank you for the information.I have read somewhere that condoms cannot provide 100% safety against gonnorhea and syphilis. How true is this?
It depends on what is in a thai massage. Whatever the case, as long as there is protection used, there is no risk. Even if there is a chance of unprotected oral, the risk is low for std transmission. Hand to genital contact (i.e. handjob, mutual masturbation, fondling of the vagina, etc) is no risk. Frottage (body to body grinding or contact) is no risk either. Suckling on the nipples or breasts are no risk either.
