ithcy and sore pimples or blisters around my private area

Occasionally my vagina area will have one or two red and itchy pimples or blisters. When i walk, bath or sit once i touch it, it will be very pain and itchy until i can't stand it but when i apply "mopiko" which is a term for a chinese cream that soothe pain and itchiness i feel better.

Sometime it get bigger and painful even when i bath and wash it, it sore and pain until i do not dare to touch it. Well i know that STD is a kind of disease when people have sex or oral sexual but the last time i have sex which is many years back and occasionally my boyfriend and i will have masturbation.

Right now i am thinking whether is it herpes or STD?  I'm really freaking out about this and i do not dare to see a doctor or talk to anyone whom i know hence i hope anyone out there can help me? Another possible reasons could be the underwear i am wearing? I always wear tight underwear and it will rub my skin and could this be the reasons  to have blister or pimples? Please help!!!

Thanks!

you can either get a type specific herpes igg blood test done or next time you have symptoms, be seen within 48 hours of their appearance for a lesion culture and typing.

no, there aren't any cures for herpes.

Thanks for your comments. For your information i don't shave but i do cut my hair as my hair tends to be quite long and very ugly if i wear swimming trucks. Do you have the discharge often?

Hi Grace,

I have not went to see a doctor yet and test for any infections as i feel that it is kind of weird to see doctor for such cases and what if i am not affected what will the doctor think about me and it will affected my relationship with my current bf.

regular blood testing isn't testing for herpes. The blood tests you've had done for your other health problems , won't tell if you have herpes. You'll need specifically tested for herpes to know what your status is.

this could be herpes , ingrown hairs, folliculitis or many other things. Every time you have symptoms, be seen for an exam to try to get better answers.

have you had your discharge tested for infections?

i had a similar prob when i was a teenager. i went to the doctor and was tested for herpes and other std's and i was negative. the doctor said it was prob razor burn that got irritated by discharge. he recommended i not shave down there for a while to help it heal and wear 100% cotton underwear to keep the area clear and free of other irritants. i have not really had any other problems since and am now 31. so if you are shaving just take a break, wear the cotton and give your vag a break... to be on the safe side though you should really see a doc. they dont judge. you have to be specific for what test you want done or else they might miss it testing for something else. be honest woth your doc and get the peace of mind with a proffessional diagnosis.

Hi grace,

Thanks for replying. For your information i have went through some blood test over the past 5years as i have gastric problems and every few months i have to do a blood count and check. Due to the medicine i took and my immune system is quite weak i often fell sick and i always have the discharge since young and i do not understand why recent years some time i will have like a bit of yellowish discharge and i only have sex few times before with one guy and recent 5 years i do not have sex and i wonder is it because of the discharge hence i will have this itchiness at my private part but for your information the pimples/ blisters grow is always at the upper part where most of my hair is located and most of the time i have blisters is after i have mensuration or perhaps i bath too early and wearing the same underwear. Furthermore my doctor previously mention to me that due to health issue i might have the discharge heavily and that is normal but i wonder can i still base on his terms? Kindly assist. Thanks!

you need to go and get a proper diagnosis first. you can't treat something until you know what it is.

I am not sure what your question about the blood test means.  if you didn't have a blood test for herpes, then you weren't blood tested for herpes.
