lips get white when wet

For a few months now i have noticed a bit of a growth on my lower lip. it doesnt hurt, doesnt get bigger or smaller. its like a clear filled vessle... and lately, i dont know if theyre related or not, but when i get my lips wet like every five hours or so, they are covered in a white peelable coating. it just seems like extra skin. after i peel it off it seems fine underneath, no raw skin or bleeding. Could this be an STD or could it be a bacterial or fungal infection? any help is appreciated.

No clue, maybe fungial, maybe yeast. Best to see a Dr for an exam.

for the growth maybe, ive had it for six months, but for the lip skin, ive had it for about a couple of weeks and i havent done anything at all for over 7months. i got checked for hiv,herpes,syphillis-negative. i just wanna know if its like a fungus or something. my lips are usually wet and not chapped naturaly so its weird. it doesnt peel off, i have to sort of rub it off as it looks weird. it starts off at the corners of my lower lip and eventually covers the lower lip white. then i just wipe it off and it comes off. any ideas?

have you had any exposure, that would make an STD a possibility?
