molluscum?

hello, I'm a 22 year old female and i have some very small, round, flesh colored or sometimes light red colored bumps on my pubic region. they are itchless, painless and sometimes i forget they are there. i have had one of the bumps for a very long time and now there are others appearing. i am married, and have only been with my husband for the past 4 years. i can't see them well enough to see if there is an indentation at the top but my husband said there was when he looked at them. i don't know what to think they are because, like i said, they are virtually painless. i don't have any other symptoms of anything else, otherwise healthy. i have a doctor's appointment with my gyno next friday but i have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and i am a self diagnosed hypochondriac..i will worry until i make myself sick and i just would like some opinions as to what these strange little bumps may be. i never really paid much attention to the first bump until more started to develop. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

There are many many possible causes. warts in the genital region are rarely perfectly round in nature. Ingrown hairs are also unlikely due to the fact that they have been present for so long. If these pubic bumps are pea like and under the skin they might be swollen lymph nodes. but from your description they seem to be ON the skin. chances are its a harmless skin condition and if they don't itch or hurt you then i would not worry.

I don't think its genital warts. I don't have any itching, no extra wetness, and the bumps are apart from each other, not in a cluster form or cauliflour type. I don't have a fever or any other symptoms and my sister just confirmed that a few of them do have an indentation in the middle so I'm leaning towards molluscum. I bought some otc wart remover with salicylic acid and I'm gonna see if that helps to treat them until I can see my gyno...thanks tho
